Celebrities Are Useless
I know this may be a shocking statement, but I believe celebrities to be useless to society. Actors and actresses like to preach to us about saving the environment and other things, yet they live in big ass houses with private jets to haul them around. They are for sure the biggest hypocrites in this country.
I'm not saying all celebrities are greedy but a majority are. The ones that donate huge amounts to charity probably just do it because they have big egos. I still don't understand why so many people look up to them, especially reality show families like the Kardashians. Why do we live in a world where low lives are praised?
Also celebrities get really angry when anyone dares mock them(Tom Cruise). I really think they are a bad influence to society and should get mocked more often. Anyone who believes Scientology is legit obviously isn't right in the head. Maybe people who actually make a difference in the world, such as doctors should get more praise over actors. I think celebrities are just living in a fantasy world and ignore whatever is actually happening around the country.

Flight Attendants
03-18-2015
Flying the friendly skies with United Airlines. Except for not really. I don’t know how many times I have encountered some of the rudest flight attendants during my flights on United. Just recently I received a ticket to sit at an exit row and problems arose before I even got onto the airplane. I was boarding the plane before I was stopped and asked if I would be ok in the exit row. I was totally confused as to why they asked and I said yes I’m fine. Then she proceeded to stop me and ask your older then 16? I was like yes i’m 21. much older then the age requirement to sit in the exit row. After I found my seat the flight attendant approached me saying “surely your older then 16?” Once again I told her yes I’m 21. Why is that they keep questioning my age. They wouldn’t have even given me an exit row seat if I hadn’t qualified in age. I don’t understand all the fuss. Not only that but just a couple days before i was at a bar and I was never carded. It seems like the airlines just picks at everything wanting you to be kicked off the flight or something. This happened before when I was 17.
Those instances weren’t so bad. But I have had several times that flight attendants are just rude. They don’t want to help you find a spot for your bag. They have snobbish attitudes thinking there better then you are for some reason. I don’t even like talking to them from all the bad experiences I have had. I just smile say Hi and try to avoid them throughout the flight.

SUPER BOWL HALFTIME SHOW
Really what kind of performers are these people getting these days for the superbowl. I haven't seen anything memorable in a very long time. It just isn't entertaining. Most of them over due it with flashes of lights fireworks and a large group of people dancing. Isn't there any originality these days? None of these people can move the crowd like Michael Jackson did during his superbowl preformance. He just stood there for almost two minutes and people where going crazy. If anyone tried that these days they'd (performer) just be taken off the air and we'd (viewers) be sent to a commercial break. They need to really look for someone that has skill next year but it's highly unlikely.

I’m a dog person.
06-09-14
I enjoy dogs more than I do cats. Cats seem a little unfriendly to me and more of a nuisance. All the neighbors cats always climb my fence and poop in my lawn, then my dog ends up eating or rolling in it, which is gross. Every time I pet a cat I’m cautious, they just have a look like they are about to lunge and bite or possible claw your face off. With dogs it’s easy to tell when they are about to bite or if they just are unfriendly, it’s hard to tell with cats. I enjoy the companionship and protectiveness you receive from a dog. Dogs are way easier to teach tricks too, and they poop and pee outside not in a litter box for cats that are inside cats. It’s hard to spend quality time outside the house with your cat because they don’t really walk on leashes. The down side I would say are dogs are definitely more high maintenance. I rather come home to my happy barking dog, then a cat walking all over my table and counter. Whatever you like is your choice though, cats can make great companions too, I just prefer dogs.

What's the deal with Dominos Pizza?
I notice recently Dominos Pizza has quite a few commercials claiming they have changed the way they make pizzas. They finally realized that their pizza sucks apparently. They first started showing pictures of pizzas stuck to the box and ruined in the delivery process, claiming that this atrocity will never happen again. If you are trying to sell a product, why would you show complaints on your own commercials? Recently Dominos actually went as far as to criticize their past failures, such as the disgusting cookie pizza. At least this company is honest enough to admit they are running out of good ideas. Also Dominos claims that their employees are intelligent people, not punk kids. So was Dominos also criticized for having rude employees? I don't think anyone cares to know that a Dominos employee is interested in art, or spray painting buildings(if that is even considered art).
Dominos must of been butt hurt that so many people were complaining about them. Now they must show that a lot of time is taken into preparing pizza with fresh ingredients, so you won't think that you are ordering slop. I heard that after altering their pizza it still sucks, or seems unchanged. I don't see McDonalds all of the sudden coming out with commercials apologizing for feeding the public revolting animal parts, ground up into oddly shaped nuggets. Why must Dominos go out and publicly admit their faults? I personally think this is hurting their business, not improving it in any way. There still will be loyal fans to Dominos, but I still would even prefer a hot and ready from Little Caesars over them. It is kind of confusing how they even stay open with so many complaints, but apparently someone likes it. If you really like to eat cardboard covered in sauce that's your personal taste.

Working With Just Women Is Horrible!!!!
4-20-14
My job is a CNA, this is a mostly female dominated career. The whole nursing staff, activities, social services and management are employed by all females. There are only a couple males employed in the nursing department. and the kitchen. Literally everyone else is Female, and they are crazy. I am warning you now, if you come across this situation you won’t last long. There is constantly gossip going around, which all the women thrive off of. Drama every single day. I have a perfect example of why having no males around is a horrible idea in a work place. It seems like everyday there is a bitch fight over something totally irrelevant to work. These women need a man to put his foot down. There are people having affairs with each other, yes girl on girl. There are nurses out to get aids, literally watching their every move just to get them fired. There is he said she said gossip going around all the time. It’s really unbelievable how these grown 30-40 year old women act. There are only two normal people there me and another lady I know. Other than that, working with all females is wild. I am getting the heck out. It’s not a healthy environment.

Showers!
4-17-2014
I will be forever grateful for whoever invented the shower. Taking a shower is the favorite part of my day other than sleeping. I love them so much I always take two a day. They are so relaxing and just help ease the tense muscles. It’s always peaceful to just stand in the shower and think or if your a singer, singing is also fun. You can also blast music or dance. I just love the way the hot steamy water pebbles just roll off my skin giving me such a euphoric feeling. I take my showers extra hot, to make the room steamy so when I get out it’s still enjoyable. There is no downside to taking a shower even cold water feels good at times. All around showering is one of my favorite things to do in life.
crash.
I also take showers obviously, but I am not as enthusiastic as Crash. It is good to be clean, and who really wants to smell your stench? I never sing in the shower or anything, I just finish and get out. You do have the freedom to pee in there if you want, which is a plus. One thing that has always peeved me is when people tamper with the shampoo. When shampoo gets low someone fills it with water, which kind of annoys me. I also get annoyed when people knock my soap in the tub and don't pick it up. It is especially bad since I mentioned how people pee in the shower. Isn't it also aggravating when someone flushes the toilet during a shower? These are just a few of my pet peeves.

Road Kill Rant
4-09-2014
I understand sometimes an animal jumps out and sometimes it’s unavoidable. I have had a couple of those instances, driving in the late night hours, or early morning hours, but I have always been able to avoid killing an animal. It is just totally unacceptable to just run over an animal crossing the road because someone didn’t want to stop. I have seen this before. I saw several geese almost get ran over when they where trying to cross just because some lady was road raging down the road and didn’t feel like stopping. I have seen baby ducks get squished. How do you even have a soul if you are going to run over innocent animals, that had their land taken from them by us humans. It’s not their fault they are just trying to survive. People do this all the time with little to no consequences
Whenever I see squirrels wanting to cross the street I always allow them the right of way. It just enrages me when I see road kill that looked like it could have been avoided. I say let the little critters pass.
In the wild if some hiker goes into a bears territory the bear attacks and kill the human usually they find that bear and kill it. Why? How does that even make sense. People don’t care of animals crossing but when a bear attacks and kills for someone crossing his territory it’s a big deal. Same concept opposite way.
It's totally unacceptable and there need to be a higher price to pay for doing this crime on purpose.
crash.
I too think it is cruel to purposefully mow down animals crossing. Just the other day I saw a dead squirrel in the road, and that sucker was flat as a pancake. It seems like everyday there is a carcass, or guts strewn on the road. It is understandable if you cannot stop, but I would try to at all costs. I think overall people are in too much a hurry, and the world is full of road ragers. On another note, old people are also hazardous, watch out for them mostly in Grand Marquis. I think people should slow down sometimes, why does everything have to be such a rush? I even saw some lady gun her car at pedestrians walking, when I was coming out of a Detroit hockey game at night. If people floor it at pedestrians, do they really care about squishing animals? We live in a cruel world.

Rolling Stone Magazine
Does this magazine have any credibility nowadays? Seriously, saying a Kanye West album is a masterpiece gives them zero credibility with me. The writers of this magazine are so wishy washy, and basically change to fit with the times. Good artists have been blasted in the past by Rolling Stone, but nowadays they are given praise. In the beginning, this magazine actually gave Led Zeppelin terrible reviews. The bands they originally snubbed, now are held in very high regard. Ironically, the magazine is run by the same music snobs as the Rock Hall. It seemed in the late 60s, this magazine compared everything to Cream, and it got quite tiresome.
The magazine altogether bores me. The topics and articles aren't that insightful. You probably could find something more interesting on the back of a cereal box. The writers also seem to be huge jerks, and overly biased. Why must the reviews change over time? It seems like if a review is criticized, they will eventually change it. It seems like Rolling Stone doesn't stick to their guns, they do stick with the bandwagon approach. Unfortunately, the magazine is run by Jann Wenner, who seems like a major nincompoop. I don't believe this magazine will ever get better, they will keep changing opinions to fit in and stay relevant today.

K-Mart
Is anyone else surprised that K-Mart still stays open? I know many K-Mart's have closed down, but there are still a few that stand. I am not sure the state of K-Mart in other states, but in Michigan they are pretty dead. I shop there once in a while, but I personally prefer Meijer. When I pull up in the parking lot there is only a few cars in sight, and I think I even saw a tumbleweed roll by once. For some reason whenever I go to K-mart it feels dreary, since sometimes there isn't even a soul in sight.
When I walk in to the local K-mart, usually the speakers are messed up. You can listen to some nice static tunes while you shop. Also it seems like some food or drinks have been on the shelf a while. We bought some flavored waters from K-mart called Ice the other day, and got home and they were even old! Also the prices are noticeably higher than other grocery stores, like Meijer. Prices may be higher, but the quality isn't the greatest.
It also seems like the staff isn't happy to work there. Secretly they even think the store is poop. One plus though to K-mart, is there are less moms wailing on their kids, like Wal-Mart. Also the electronics are quite weak at K-mart, and literally every game is locked up. There is barely anyone working in this area of the store, since rarely anyone wanders over there. Often there is merchandise strewn about too. Some of the movies are okay there, so I can't complain about that. I found Jurassic Park on dvd, when they were out at other stores. Another thing I can't understand, is why K-mart still hasn't got self scans, when their competitors have them. Maybe if K-mart was a tad more updated and less expensive, more people would shop there.

I'm going to admit I am new at guitar, but the Line 6 spider is one of the worst amps I ever heard. I started off with bass then began to play my brothers guitar, unfortunately he had this amp. You are better off buying a Fender amp than a Spider, which he did recently. The spider had terrible distortion, and there really was no true clean sound. The effects were campy, and sounded too digitized. The distortion on this amp sounds like a broken Walkman. You probably could get better distortion if you made your toaster an amplifier.
Other Line 6 products may be good, but this 15 watt Spider is a turd. I know you can't expect too much out of 15 watts, but I was shocked how better a Fender 15 watt sounded. It confuses me how this amp got so many good reviews. I think employees at music stores convinced people it was worthwhile to buy. In the future we probably will sell this amp since there is no use for it. Beware the Spider if you plan on purchasing an amp. If I had to rate this amp it would be 5/10.

Whats up with local radio stations? It seems like every day local stations play the same songs repeatedly, after a while it gets tiresome. I mean how many times can you hear "Back in Black" or "Dream On"? Why would anyone call in and request these songs, since they would play them anyway within the hour. I can't even imagine how many times songs have been played since their release, radio stations are really beating them into the ground. The reason people probably know one or two songs by a band is probably because of radio stations. I can't speak for every city, but where I live close to Detroit it is horrible. It seems like Michigan radio stations are obsessed with Tom Petty, Queen, and Ac/Dc. If you are going to play one of these dull bands, why not pick a song seldom heard. If you want a good radio station, you probably could find one in a hopping city like Las Vegas. Unfortunately though, some people are stuck with these dull and sterile stations.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
I'm going to say right off the bat, I am not a fan of the rock hall. I am definitely a fan of rock, I just don't support the biased rock hall. A lot of the acts that are inducted are not even considered "rock", such as Michael Jackson or Abba. These people and groups may be successful and talented, but they are not even close to rock. They should of just called the building "The Music Hall of Fame".
Also the acts that are inducted are purely based on opinion. Sales and popularity really don't account much for those inducted. There are some acts though that are too huge not to be inducted, such as Led Zeppelin. Still there are many very popular bands that are left out, because the rock hall is run by music snobs. If someone in a band ticks off the rock hall snobs they won't ever be inducted.
Some of the popular musicians that aren't inducted are; Stevie ray Vaughn, which is one of the best guitarists in the world, The Guess Who, and too many others. You can go online and look up how many acts haven't been inducted or even considered, which I really don't really have to provide a link for. Those who are inducted are basically just chosen by the people who run the HoF, there really isn't much vote by the fans.
Also heavy metal is virtually ignored by the rock hall. Luckily Black Sabbath was included and Metallica, because they were so important. I really couldn't see other heavy metal bands like Slayer being inducted though, but there still is a possibility. I really don't think the people who run the hall really care about public opinion, but maybe if they are criticized enough they will change their ways.
I am not basing this rant on who I want inducted really, but what many people want. Also I put this in Miscellaneous since it doesn't really involve a review. If this was a review of the rock hall I would give it a really poor review. I would though like to see some of the memorabilia in the place. There probably is a lot to see in the rock hall, but I still think it shouldn't be run by overly biased people. Also why is the rock hall in Cleveland, because there is nothing else to do there? When I think of Ohio I don't really don't think rock and roll. Hopefully the rock hall will come under new management some day, and some important bands won't be snubbed any longer.

Agony In Pink
This is a fanfiction created by someone with a sick mind. The premise of this fiction is simple, the torture of the pink ranger.
Now I myself don't like the pink ranger but I would never go this far as to write something as gruesome as this story. I also fear this the author of this wrote this to get off in his sick twisted mind. At first I thought it wasn't too bad with the pink ranger just getting whipped, but that quickly escalated into uncalled for territories. Later the author depicts gruesome ways of torturing the pink ranger, an example pushing needles under her finger and toe nails. I won't go into any more detail if you are interested google it. This fiction was uncalled for in the fanfiction community. This fiction doesn't even deserve a rating.

I agree with Crash that this story is quite gruesome at times, well pretty much the whole time. I don't have a sick mind, but I was able to read through this story and wasn't too bothered. After all it is just a story, if this related in any way to real life it would be flat out sick. Someone did obviously make this story for their own enjoyment, and I don't think it necessarily had to be shared. Though if people are interested you can find Agony in Pink online somewhere, we aren't providing the link. This story is definitely over the top and should not be taken too seriously.

What is the deal with toilet paper in public restrooms. This is the main reason why I don't use them. How low of quality of paper could they buy. It's thin you need like half a roll just to wipe and It's rough and scratchy. Do they like special order it to be extra thin? Even the cheapest roll you buy at the store is better quality than they offer. Schools also have the same crap. Hotel rooms have better toilet paper than public restrooms. I think we should be provided with something a little more suitable for our bathroom needs, might as well go on the side of the road and wipe with a leaf.
Crash.
I agree with Crash's opinion on toilet paper. The worst thing is being in the bathroom and the paper breaks through. Thank god there really isn't one ply anymore. Also why are restrooms so disgusting? Why do people feel the need to pee on the seat, or vandalize the stalls? Mostly at schools people pee on the seat or stick wet paper towels to the wall, but in restaurants or stores is uncalled for. The nastiest thing was once when I walked into a Meijer restroom; there were actually soiled underwear left on the floor! What is the world coming to?

What is the deal with old people? Doesn't it seem like old people can be really rude? I understand that some can't help it, but other old people feel like they can say or do anything. It is like old people think "I'm old it's expected", so this is their excuse to be rude. Why are we always told to respect elders, when the elders don't give respect? It is almost like some old people have a free pass to do or say whatever. Some old people can be equally as rude as teenagers.

Does anyone else think its odd when waiters/waitresses sit by you when you order? It always seemed odd to me. This doesn't really happen all that much though, since it is an awkward situation. Also why does it seem like the staff stares at you at Chinese restaurants? I feel like the people in Chinese restaurants talk about you behind your back. Does anyone else feel this way?

Walmart
Everyone has heard the horror stories about Walmart, but i have one thing to discuss. What is up with people wailing on their kids in Walmart! Usually the people who do this are in their pajamas, and also they don't care for what others think of them. Obviously everyone else thinks they are crappy parents. Why not at least wail on someone outside the store! Moms wailing on their kids occurs way to much in Walmart. I think this has to stop.

A funny video from the remastered Star Wars Episode VI. An example of bad computer animation.
This is the best action scene on hedgehogs ever!
